Default I am in for one heck of a long week...

After months of research and debating, I have finally decided to say **** it, and just dropped off my car to get supercharged. It is going to take a week for everything to be installed and tuned, so for another six days I will be without my baby . The bright side is that my car will be soon in a completely different class! I don't know what is going to get to me first, the anticipation or the lack of a car, both are killing me.

Anyways this is what I am getting installed:
HKS GT Supercharger kit GTM spec
GTM HKS GT supercharger pully
Walbro 255lph In Tank Fuel Pump
DeatschWerks 600cc Denso Injector Set
HKS F-Con VPro Standalone Engine Management System
HKS GTM TEMP COMPENSATION KIT
GTM Intercooler Tempature Monitor
GTM Spec ECU Flash
JWT Fuel Managment Unit
GTM valvebody upgrade

So in all I think it should be worth it. Can't wait till I can drive it! This is going to be one hell of a long week for me.

How much is that kit. Last I saw it was as pricey as twins.

Yeah it's definitely very pricey (the stage 0 kit goes for $8k alone), however the fact that it is a supercharger and quiet is why I went with this kit. I need my Z to still be reliable and CARB legal, and with the way I am getting this done you should hardly even be able to tell that my Z is boosted. I'm getting the HKS CAMP2 system installed on my stock navigation so I should have some great hidden gauges with that setup. The intercooler should be the only real giveaway, that is until it starts up.

Anyway you put it I am very excited about this setup right now, it is just perfect for what I want out of my Z. It is very expensive, but still one hell of a lot cheaper than buying a new car with comparable HP. Can't wait till it is ready, this week already seems to be going by way too slow!

Nice! I always thought the HKS was a little pricey but oh well you have to pay to play, especially when buying JDM hardware. I was actually considering a similar setup too...very interested in dyno numbers once this heck of a long week is done. Is all this going to be done on stock internals?

Yeah I am leaving the internals alone. I should see some good numbers from GTM once I finally pickup my car, sam told me to expect RWHP in the 380-400 range. Can't wait, I haven't anticipated a single date so much like this in years, I feel like a kid just before christmas right now!
