Just curious, if Stillens SC is producing less hp/tq than Vortech's and probably very conservative tune also why would more engines be blowing than Vortechs? Seems with a conservative tune and less power the Stillen would be safer albeit with less power????
There is more to it than just power young grasshoppa...
The Stillen EM is locked down, and I have yet to see anybody actually tune their Stillen unit, meaning they run the tune that comes with the kit.. Base maps, and generic tunes for every kit is garbage. Imagine the same tune being the same for a guy in Alaska and chilling temps compared to the guy in Arizona. Or what about 91 vs 93 oct? See where Im going?
Actually this is not true, you can tune the timing and Fuel on a dyno for a given region with their box..You can have say 1 91 octane tune and a switch for a 100 octane tune also...
