Recently when im driving the TT I heard a Whistle when I go off the throttle..I think is comming out of the BOV which is a Greedy SSV..could this whistle comes from there or maybe a leak on the WG?

 

Greddy... And they dont make the SSV, HKS does.

And a whistle when you let off the throttle, coming from the BOV, is exactly what you're supposed to hear... I am having a hard time taking this question seriously, but maybe this is your first experience with an FI vehicle or something?

 

I meant not the BOV sound when going on boost..I mean when Im on vac and you let the throttle there is this whistle sound which I have never heard,Is not like the sound of the Vortech when not on boost...is when I apply little throttle and let off it whistle..and sorry Is a Greddy Type RS..

 

Ah, okay, I was confused by your wording.

My bet would be a vacuum leak somewhere, probably a small one and probably pre-maf if the car is running normally.

 

Sorry for my Spelling..English is not my primary language..I had a Similar Whistle and was a Leak on the Gasket of the Waste gate..but I fixed that and now im having this annoyin whistle comming form the left front fender where the BOV is..The car is running like a champ it holds its boost and everything seems normal..I guess I should Tight every clamp once again to see if the sound goes away..

 

Check the fittings on each end of the BOV. I'd also check to make sure the spring isn't getting stuck

 

hmm thanks for the response..if the spring is getting stuck what can I do to remedy this???some ligh grease??
