Exclamation Zeitronix VS. AEM

Alright first of all for you sticklers and complainers, I used the search button, did a little research, but still dont have a clear answer! i have the turbonetics ST kit, gonna b controlled through a UTEC, just wondering which wideband I should get? The Zeitronix or the AEM. Heard good things about both, but have heard the AEM is more common, thus making it a little more compatible w/ the shops when we tune. Any recommendations?

+1, I would not buy another AEM wideband. It is not terrible, but the accuracy is questionable and it seems a lot of people have frequent sensor failures with them.

Are you ever going to want to integrate your UTEC logs with your AFR readings? If so, then you might want to look into the Innovate LC-1 or the TurboXS Tuner, along with the UTI software (www.jeffsoftware.com).

If you're only looking for an external wideband, and the only tuning that will be done would be on a dyno that integrates their AFR readings with their logs, then the Zeitronix should work just fine.

I've been running an AEM on Bank1 and TXS Tuner on bank2 for almost 2 years. The AEM and TXS are always very close. So I have to assume the AEM is accurate. Couldn't say how long it'll last though, but I haven't had any troube with mine. They both use Bosch O2 sensors.

I have had both and the Zeitronix was the better wideband and is a boost and EGT display all in one . But the box is not the greatest looking display and you have to keep it out of the sunlight to see it . I mounted mine on the top of the dash to be in the line of sight . I could never see it in the day light so I built a shroud for it . I didnt think it looked good mounted anywhere else . I believe gauges look MUCH better !
