live and learn. I dont feel for this guy at all. He isnt a newb... but he continues to bite the hand thats feeding him. He should be asking kissing AAM azzz until he gets his car back.
why would you curse out your waitress before you get your food.
Grow up, learn the game or get your azz beat trying to play with the big dogs.

Damn, i cant beleive i read all 6 pages but one thing i gotta say, OP, you shoulda just taken your car to MRC bro. I feel your pain and we all make mistakes but this time you get your motor done, take it to MRC. Oh and also, dont think of this as a downside cuz now you have a reason to build your motor.

I'll be the devil's advocate in this. I know I DIY alot but there are somethings that you just can't do such as tuning which is where you trust your vehicle to someone else. I mean anyone who is going F/I is taking that risk of one day popping their engine if they or a shop installs and tunes their stuff wrong or is driving it pass it means. 4shizzl and I get into all the time about pushing the car pass its means or close to it. It happens to the best of them. As someone who is eventually going to take my car to a tuner in the DMV area, I have learned a lot from this post. I see where the OP was coming from and I also see where the business is coming from. I think one of the biggest lessons I have learned is you got to do the research on who you are letting work on your car and try and resolve your issues diplomatically before your car is in someones else's possession before trying to hang their nuts out to dry.

its like this... if you get wronged... Publicly blasting a shop or person is well within reason. Now I have my issues with pretty much everyone and every shop. I happen to like Clint. But he also could be lying, I highly doubt that he is, but possibly. Regardless of what Clints points means or doesnt mean.
You cant smash anyone or shop that has your ride. I would never cuss out anyone in a drive through before I got my food.
You will end up with the floor hockey paddy F-U Burger.
I also think the moderators should close this thread. It is now not benefiting anyone. If the car was in perfect condition when he dropped it off....the thread has merrit, now we can see that is not the case. Thread is invalid.
but maybe the OP made discovered the point of his thread buy causing so much debate and slander of yet another AAM bashing.
but now its a wash...

i've done business with clint before and he has always been a stand up guy.............they have never done work on my car before but he has help me out in certain situations that he has gone above and beyond.........and we have only talked on the phone...........you if he took care of me and doesn't know me or owe me anything then i would have to say he is probably going to try and treat eveyone the same....................and to the OP i'm not saying either way about your car but i will say this, you know if your car freaked up from the beginning before you got to aam, you know if there was electrical tape holding on you BOV..............so i don't see how you can blame AAM knowing if you had these problems..............and also a engine just doesn't blow up in vaccum @ 45mph..........you can run A/F's at 17 in vaccum and still be okay..............so something ain't jelling with you bro
