we understand that... we took that into account.. now we are giving you the fair market value of the car based on all those factors.. its still a steal at 25k.. do you really think you are going to find a built Z/G with F-Con for under 25k? the F-Con and goodies alone is upwards of 3k.. i don't think you are taking that into account.. you are probably looking at UTEC cars

take it to any 'trusted' performance shop.. they arn't tuning or installing anything on the car.. any shop that has built cars in the houston area should be able to do a compression check and a quick look around to see if the car is running good

Thanks again for your feedback... seems we had some sort of miscommunication with the "steal" thing --- but I get your point.

Seems that everyone agrees it's a good deal, but now I just need to find a "trusted" shop in Houston.

I've searched here and everyone seems to mention SGP... anyone else?

also you should take into account this car has an F-Con.. not too many F-Con Tuners out there.. only an Authorized HKS Dealer can tune this car.. its something you want to think about before buying the car.. so even if everything checks out.. you being in dallas might be stuck with SGP for tuning.. however the good thing about the F-Con is once its tuned good.. you should be all set.. but speaking from someone who lives 3 states away from where my F-Con was tuned.. its a headace..

so if you really want the car.. check who tunes other EMS around near you.. then maybe you can even get the car cheaper if you don't want the F-Con..

My IS300 had a Halktec E6K and it was CRAP!!! It was done by Toyomoto in Miami and no one in Dallas was familiar with it... but then that was five years ago when there was no plun-n-play... it was all hard-wired.

I believe Jotech in Dallas is familiar with the F-Con so I'm not worried about that part.

I just need to get a hold of Mark at SGP or some other shop so that I can get this car checked out. At this point, I'm having a very difficult time getting a hold of anyone!

So is the aem, but everyone uses it. The new haltech for the Z is very very good.
