its a great kit. the reliability is in the tune. the accepted max power with reliability is around 400whp. do some research though before you post. the f/i thread users are ruthless. but since im from hawaii too id figure id help another hawaii z owner out before the flames come.

Over 6k miles on mine already and have had 0 issues! I get a check engine light once in a while which is normal for FI'd cars. I Love the kit and the power that it produces. Car drives like stock until you get on it and then you unleash the beast within. Currently putting down close to 400hp on stock block with a conservative tune on 9psi. This is my Daily Driver also btw.

If you are installing it yourself it's a tight fit but it's well worth it for the quality parts. Instructions suck a bit but there are plenty of write ups on here and also alot of us are available for questions if you have issues. Also Intense is supposed to be putting out a new instruction manual with alot of pictures. We'll have to wait and see when they finish that up.

From what I've read from those who run it on here it's a very efficient setup; intake temps are much better than other engine bay mounted turbos. If you're really worried about reliability you better find yourself a good tuning shop, not just one that will bolt it up for you. Check out the stock block and "how much did you push it" thread…

The only kit-related issue I have is a whistling noise on decel when above 4,000 rpms. I think it might have been an install error on top of the many install errors on the car.

The whistle is kinda common. I have it also but I don't even pay attention to it cause I have music up. Intense has reported that this is normal and has nothing to do with install error.

Pros: I am impressed with the power the kit produces, and it spools very quick. It is a nice match for the stock motor if you have a proper tune, and gives you room to grow in the future if you go with a built motor. We just finished a Haltech tune on one last week, and had to turn it down because of the power it was producing (450whp DD).

Cons: The fitment is very tight, so you can expect some pipes to rub and hear this from time to time Also, make sure to invest in a turbo blanket if they still aren't including one in the kit.

It drove perfectly when I got mine in but then my UTEC crapped out (Nothing Powerlab can do about this..) and it's been at TurboXS for the past.. 4 weeks now? To get the ECU fixed/replaced.

We have installed a few of them and I was overly impressed with the ease of installation.

I have not had any of the cars I installed this kit in come back for any reason other that to say that they loved the kit. I had one customer say that he drove his car down south in very hot temps and never had an issue.

The kit is well designed and if installed correctly it should function and perform very well!

Is this the final verdict from Intense? I wonder why some have it and some don't, it doesn't make sense.

get a louder exhaust that flows more and you'll hear nothing! just kidding though.. my jic pretty much masks all noises the engine makes aside from spoolup.

3k miles no problem so far. temp gauge never budges from normal op. temps, even in the FL heat. pulls strong, especially on the highway. I'd do it all over again if need be.
