well... The ex owner ran oil thru the turbos and blew one to bit!!! I need a whole new cartridge... So if anyone knows I need a gt2871r part 707160-10

Send the turbo to a Garrett distributor so they can rebuild it for you.

ohh no... its gone!!! i took it to redat here in orlando they told me its not worth rebuilding... needs a whole new cartridge.

Thats what I mean, replacing the cartridge would be rebuilding the turbo. Your not purchasing an entire turbocharger.

ohh i c.. i thought it meant they would fix the one thats damaged... who should i take it to? anyone you recommend?

Cass007 seems to be happy with Blouch (sp?) turbo, I don't know of anyone local to you exactly, but any Garrett distributor should be able to help you out.
A new center cartridge will probably run you around $1,000 +/-.
