Possible that it was just a bad rod from the start? I dunno. I still am probably going to get Eagle rods either way though.

Why not just go with Pauter Foged Rods? Bought some last week, i know they are pricey, but i figure if you want 650+ they are worth the money.

i have been going effin crazy going through all these threads. i don't have 15 grand to drop on all this crap. i think its gonna be a simple tt setup, 8-10psi, around 400whp, and buying some engine parts thereafter. I don't rag on my car too much, so i think this is the way to go, after posting this thread and reading so many of the others. I just want a solid FI z, that puts up modest numbers. Going simple, buying rods/pistons, clutch etc. after that.
