Default CEL flashing on decel after WOT pulls

I have APS twins with Utec and 550cc RC injectors.. If I stomp on it in 2 or 3rd, Im good, the gear goes real quick(traction issue) and nothing out of the ordinary.
If I go Full throttle and wind out 4th or 5th to redline(or close), when I let off the gas, the engine light flashes for a few seconds. It doesnt stay on so I cant scan it. Im thinking that maybe because I let off the gas real fast, the car is still dumping fuel for a split second, and the car might be picking it up as a misfire. Any opinions? Anyone else have this problem?.

I'm running about 8-8.5psi for the winter(was at 7 but it was to rich) but the car is tuned for 10ish.. I turned it down when the cold weather came and my car kept going to boost cutoff(11.5psi) and running lean. those 5-10 degree nights can wreak havoc on a boosted car. Felt nice though ha ha
Thanks for your input.

My brother will be tuning my car this weekend so we'll see what he can do.

It could be that you are missing a few times when in the higher gear! that is why the light would be flashing!!

Yeah normally flashing CEL is random misfires or the knock sensor. The open to close loop delay might be to long in the UTEC.

Mike, I think if it was knocking in the upper RPM it would be flashing while I was still on the gas. It doesnt flash until about 3 seconds after I let off. Yes/no?

Dave, that seemed like the issue, but I turned my boost back up to 10psi today, and its not doing it anymore.
Did a few flat out 5th runs to redline, and came out of the throttle quick.. Nothing happened. except some brake fade ha ha

I just want this motor to stay together as long as possible, thats all. I'm past the 20k boosted mileage on a stock block, and the motor is still running strong, so it makes me nervous. This is my DD after all, and I beat the **** out of this thing. (have a Civic just in case though)
