Hi guys,
Just seen this thread on Nissansportz.com so thought i might as well say Hi.
I can confirm that we have purchased the car from the Rubio's at Performance Motorsport in NY. Andrew & Gary & the rest of the guys there are great guys & we hope this is the start of a long & successful relationship with them.
The car, fingers crossed should be ready to ship to the UK in a few weeks time, it is a slightly newer sister car with slight revisions to the original car which Performance Motorsport still own.
We have high hopes for the car, but we are realistic & know that it will take us a fair amount of time to get to know the car & run the times we would like to eventually run.
We have been running a Nissan Skyline GTST for the last 3 years in the UK, in 2008 it became Europes 1st ever 7 second skyline & finished the season as the quickest Japanese car in Europe (just !) after a really tight season with the Supra guys over here - details of the skyline can be found here
www.projectgtst.com
& recent vid from testing here

We can't wait to get our hands on the Zed & start testing to try & find our feet - fingers crossed we will see her running in July
thanks
John

Are you the driver of the Skyline? What kind of 60 foot times are you consistantly running. That thing launches like a bat out of hell...
John is the Skyline driver nut, but I don't know his 60Ft times.
Be nice to see something new in the UK, going to be good to see you running in this John.
Top man...

Hi yes i am,
60 foots around 1.12 - 1.16 & will get better once we dial the clutch in better. Biggest issue we have withthe car is that the cage is certified to 7.5 secs & we know we can get under that this year, the car is on race fuel with no nos or methanol etc.
Hoping the cage can be changed over the winter to unlimited & then we can switch to methanol & really up the power.
The zed runs a very similar clutch so we should be good from a datalogging/learning piece on that side of things

It looks like a Motec in one of the pictures, but I can't really tell.
thanks a lot
We will keep the Zed LH drive as it is as weight distribution will be much better , main reason we left the skyline as RH drive is due to it being very much a road car that has been modiified a bit more then another bit more & changed over the years.
