Default My Z is smoking........yet again

OK,

so heres the issue im having right now, my Z is smoking pretty heavily, but its only under idle, not while driving, or WOT, only idle, white smoke, and it is coing out of both sides of the exhaust. Now the driver side exhaust is very hot to the touch, where as the passanger side exhaust is normal, and not hot at all. My Z is not running rich, or lean, not running hot, or cold, its running fine, and nothing has lead up to this, it just started happening 3 days ago. And idea what it could be fellas? im thinking maybe a turbo seal has gone bad? The motor does give off a burning smell after about 3-5min of reg. driving. I have e-mailed Sam at GTM already, and as many of you guys know my history with builds, its not a very good one. Wishing for the best!!!

is there white smoke billowing out from under the hood as well??...if so could be a blown head gasket. I'm only saying this because prior to my Z, I had a Cadillac Eldorado and after white smoke had been billowing out of the hood and both exhaust pipes for three days, I took it into a local shop who diagnosed my problem to be a blown head gasket.

Does it smoke after it's been sitting for a while? Or does it smoke at all times during idle? If it only smokes right after start-up but then goes away, it may be some bad valve stem seals.

if you just did the oil lines and this recently happened.. you might want to recheck the lines.. you might have a leak some where causing this

i remember when my car was smoking.. i read a couple threads that said Greddy Turbo's didn't like certain type/weight oil.. might be something to look into if this is the first time you're using this oil or weight and the problem just started.. they were saying something about the oil and the turbo seals causing it to smoke

It could possibly be seals, how do your return lines look? I would check them first then check if oil is in the downpipes, then you will know for sure. kinked return lines would cause the seals to leak but would reseal once the drainage is correct.

if it happend right after your last oil change.. i don't think its the seals.. i think we need to look deeply at the oil change or oil itself

i have used the same type of oil sense i got the car 1st done way back in 2007, so i know its not the oil itself, and if it were a kinked line...would that cause the very heavy burning smell coming from the motor after warm up??
