Default ? on a procharger

Ok so I’m buying a procharger from a guy for 4200. The unit itself has 12000 miles on it but was just rebuilt but ATI. The kit comes with every stock, AAM brace, 440 inj. 9lb pully, Unichip ems, Apexi N-1 exhaust, HFC and dc headers. So I'm thinking that I want to go with the utec over the Unichip. I know I need a walbro fuel pump and maybe a basic fuel return kit. I think I’m getting a pretty good deal. Help on anything else I need or anything you guys think about would be great.

Save the money for a return kit and buy some guages and supporting mods. For the power youll be making, RFS is not neccessary.

I just completed my Procharger setup about a month ago. I also have the 9 psi pulley, walbro, utec, 600 dw injectors. As for the BPV I decided on the turbo xs h34. Some gauges would be a good idea ( Boost, Fuel Pressure, and Wideband A/F ) to make sure everything is running smooth and of course a professional tune. You could also add a plenum spacer.

Like everyone stated before, if you are running sub 400whp, the fuel return kit is not needed. Its not set in stone for that amount of power, but that seems to be the norm. Have the utec or unichip tuned my someone reputable who knows what they are doing, and you should be good to go. Congrats on the nice deal!

I have not changed anything on the exhaust yet but, I am considering some options. My car is a DD and it didn't want a raspy droning exhaust that I've heard on so many G/Z's. Does anyone has any good suggestions on exhaust for a supercharger?

Forged Performance just finished my Procharger build. 9psi made 380whp on a DD dyno. That is on a low compression built motor. On the stock block with all supporting mods, you should make about 400whp. You do not need a fuel return, make sure you have good gauges to monitor everything well.

Anything above 9psi and the Procharger will start snapping belts btw.

Take a ride in a turbo'd Z or G and you would probably change your mind. Go turbo. But its all in personal perference between turbo and SC. I have had nitrous then a procharged then a TN kit and now running the PL kit.

Do some searching. Make sure you have a power goal. Or it will cost u in the long run. Like me.
