Hal at ip bump my idle to 1200 and he tried to resolve this issue and he end up set at where very close to it. Had to give a gas, but just tap the pedal.

Well anyway stalling wasn't really big issue to me.
I have a new tb, willing to replace it this comming week, and plan to play with utec little more before sell it, let see what this can change.

Congrats man! I'm still having this problem. I was going to send my ecu to Hal to bump up the idle. But so far i've been driving it with the A/C on to stop the stalling. I learned this trick from someone on this forum. It's kinda weird that turning on your A/C stop the stalling issue.

I have this issue too! I might get AAM to bump up the idle for me.

Turning on the ac will bump the idle as the computer see's more load on the engine and up's the idle rpm's.

I don't think just bump idle will resolve this problems. You will need some adjust on ECU and piggy back ( if you running ). Hal@IP reflash my ECU, if my ECU was stock and just did bump my idle higher...i don't think, it did fix by just cleanning TB. I would say should go talk to tuner see what they say about it.

Yes, i'm selling my Utec. I felt someone will ask this to me. LOL
Still having rough idle, this is my main issue.

Going with Uprev at this time. Since Hal reflash my ECU via cipher/osiris, so it is already have a license. Talked to uprev about rough idle and they are willing to put my car on dyno retune via osiris also i only have to pay for dyno + MAF. And i've talking to hal ( we've talking thru email almost everyday now, i even throw my stress and complain to him, he just still sitting there keep helping me. Now we are good friend ) Hal knows i'm tight on my budget, he made sure every will be ok with taking car to uprev and all that other things.

It can be simple fix, if tuner can control stock ECU at this moment. But hal is too far away from me, needs someone can look at my car when they control/adjust stock ECU.
Second tuner Chris macellario couldn't control my stock ECU, because it was reflash he couldn't look what ECU is doing. I already installed 2.87 pulley, i just asked him to retune the Utec.

Uprev is one of top notch company, it will be totally diff tune style to run the car compare with piggy. Each product has pros/cons and i have No complain with Utec ( expect that old style data logs...lol) but it's not bad to try both of it at same setup no?

I dont understand how your idle is so rough that its making you change the EMS... I have basically the same setup and my idle is dead on, just like stock. it moves by like 100-200 rpms but it always did that even when I was NA. No complains with idle here

It is enough rough that gives me a stress. lol

Tried many way to find out, leak down boost leak clean throttle body reset ECU and take it to local shop. But only thing will can fix is reflash my ECU back to stock or adjust things on reflash ECU. Once adjust things on ECU or reflash back to stock, i might needs to retune the Utec. Which that will cost me another tune + downtime for couple of days. When uprev charging me for just a dyno + MAF, i figured if i resell Utec that might help my budget atleast.

When both way cost close a $, why not try diff setup? I'm sure either way can fix.

Not at this moment.
Plan it, but my budget won't let me at this time. I need new brakes soon.
But I will in future when I go more power.

If its not needed at my power level, I don't think I have to push to get it.

my gripe with Uprev (unless they fixed it) was/is no knock control. You can knock away and the reflash doesn't give 2 *****...has this been addressed?

That being said, I have the Osiris reflash on my car along with the Haltech

I think you should invest in a Stg 0 RFS. Either CJM, F:T, or AAM

PS- You can never just put boards over a money pit....you have to keep throwing money into it

I don't mine go with cjm rfs 0 at this moment but 4/hr for install stage 0 is turn me down at this time. I rather skip that and install myself when I'm ready to go with haltech and upgrade blower.

I know throw money =fi, but in 3 month drain 10k isn't makes me that easy.

Oem knock control is good up untill 5k rpms and utec uses oem knock sensor(?). I'm not sure with cipher can data log on, but If one knock can kill the motor, I don't know if there is point to finding a knock from pulls? With right tune, I don't think looking at knock count is really needed. Which same thing, with right tune you don't need to look at a/f gauge.

I do believe its really matter who tune the car.
