If you want first hand experience from someone who went to JRP for his APS TT purhcase & install, pm "Smasher".
When he first decided to go FI, many of us warned him of JRP.. but he learned the hardway how they treated customers, especially noobs.

Anyhow, if you want a shop experienced with both the VQ and FI.. Contact Ed@aph, he is a vendor on this board.
Or
drop by the shop and talk to them.

I did talk to him....I actually just bought his Kaminari Lip kit off of him. He said Steve actually gave him a pretty good deal. But he didn`t get it installed at JRP. If Smasher wasnt lying about how much he paid, it seemed like he was getting a good deal. He told me he had his TT installed at a shop in Brampton though. I forgot what the name was, but he said he liked them a lot.

Also, the reason why I would get it done from the guy in the back, is because. When I went in the front and talked to them....they basically fed me a whole bunch of BS which I obviously knew. But, when I went to the back, the guy basically ripped into the guys in the front saying they dont know what they are talking about.
Plus I saw a couple of the cars he was working on at the time, and it looked really good. And to be honest he was 100% straight up with me, not one word of ********. I respect that.

But hey, I'm not married to any company, what it comes done to is best quality for the cheapest price.

No not at all man....do your thing.
i just really think some members on here have some serious issues. Isn;t the whole idea behind forums to help out other people? Or give input? Why ridicule when I've obviously done nothing wrong.

I simply asked for an opinion on whether or not anyone has used the turbo...I really didn't expect to get called an idiot

Please just calm down and take your hazing like a man. If you think you are the first to be treated this way, you are sadly mistaken. Here in F/I we bloddy up the newbs so only the strong survive. If you can't handle some people mocking you a bit, how will you take it when your car pwns you?

Either man up a bit or just go ahead and go apesh1t on Romey so we can be amused when you disappear forever

Like George said... Because you knew absolutely nothing.

His point was very valid. Since you obviously know very little about our platform and obviously haven't done much research... How in the hell would you really know if the guy you spoke with in the back of that shop is knowledgable or qualified??? You have to educate yourself first and do your own research to avoid getting scammed as a NOOB. Scott Bush at Relentless Autosports preys on NOOBS just like you. We've seen it all before.

Like I said before, if the GT40 was an easy fitment, you would see a bunch of threads in the FI section about it. A simple search through the FI section before making this thread would have answered your own question and saved you from the NOOB hazing.

One of the biggest irritations on here is NOOBS who expect to be spoon fed answers and who fail to search through the wealth of info in the FI forum before starting a thread.

Lesson learned for you I hope. Chill out, grow a thicker skin, and move on.

, funny thing is that: (while search only would have told him that it was very hard to put a custom kit together, etc) is that he actually did get advide on the thread and he choose to ignore it to go with a more ignorant advice...by a "bubble shop" from what i hear.
