I dont plan any high speeds for the next few weeks, so I might just remove it or zip tie it up out of the way and see what my options are. I talked to a fabrication troop here on base and he said they have some scrap titanium sheets laying around. I might give him the old tray and see if he can recreate it with the titanium sheet(cutouts and all) Ill keep you all posted

When i was doing a lot of fabrication in the beginning of the year we were going to make a few because they are really not that hard to make. we even set up the cad program for it, but then I quit haha..
its really not that hard to do, im surprised that noone else has come out with one yet.
Mine got torn off, and i was doing the zip tie thing, along with some standoffs from various points. It was more rigid than stock.
If you have even just a siding brake and a sheet of aluminum, like .030 will do it, peice of cake. and some justice with a holesaw should do it

I have an ARC one and I can't even think of getting rid of it because it helps so much in securing the chargespeed bumper. Makes aftermarket bumpers feels more secure on the car due to the added stiffness!

I've had one on my car for years now - unless you take torches or a hacksaw to it, it's not being destroyed by anything. It's actually quite thick.

That cover is only ~80$ from the dealer. How much cheaper do you want it?

i left mine off because i like to inspect all my FI stuff on a regular basis (like almost daily). I'm also afraid i might develope a leak and not notice it before i drive since thetray is on and then have some serious problems when driving.

I've travelled in Texas quite alot...the roads there are a joy vs NY. And I bet my car is lower than yours My underpanel has scrapes on it, but zero damage since installing it 3 or 4 years ago. I replaced my factory one 3 times before swapping to the ARC, and it was a worthwhile purchase
