Regardless, congrats on the kill!
It's just my opinion that little runs like this on a deserted straight line are far less dangerous than what those BMW guys were doing. A little thought goes a long way. Sometimes the track isn't open, sometimes you don't have 10 or 15 bucks in your pocket. Sometimes it just happens right here right now. If someone walks up to you in a bar and starts punching you, you aren't going to say, Hey, wait! Lets wait until Sat. night and go to the boxing ring over at Joes Gym! No, you are going to hopefully defend yourself. Anyways, I don't condone street racing, but this is pretty harmless where they were and how long it lasted. Those BMW guys were obvioulsy in traffic, around corners, on a canyon road with more runoff than is safe(downhill). IMO.

I have been interested in a ATI procharger, myself. What was the cost? I have seen them being sold for 5k. Does anyone know of a site that sells them cheaper, like for around 4k or less, or should I wait till the price comes down?? Thanks

Dayummmnnn. Delicious kill.

I don't endorse street racing either, but if its in the right conditions I wouldn't turn my back away from it.

Very well said. Excellent point of view. It was a safe place. The BMW driver is a friend of my son. We finished the Procharger inst. and went to our favorite test road. Many friends wanted to see if the Z's "surgery" was worthy....I guess it was...
In my modest opinion I feel safer racing there than at the track with our 760 rwhp 9 secs convertible mustang, with slick tires running 8 lbs of air pressure, going 142 mph...
Please excuse my English.

That was a sweet kill man.. I have a friend with an m3.. and can't wait to surprise him with a lil Z power! Stupid question, but just wondering.. im betting it would, but just to make sure, would the procharger or super charger void the manufacturer warranty?

What some people at e46fanatics.com had to say.

rotflmao...yeah knowing how to use the SMG is going to make up for a 100hp difference.

Moped?...would he admit to getting smoked by a moped?

I think the new ones are 333bhp(smg model), which I would say is about 280rwhp. So beating it would not be a problem. as for the e46 forum, everyone says that when they get beat by a car that cost 10k less then the bmw even with the ati. I would race him again till he becomes a very little spec in the mirror and plaster it all over the wonderful internet
