I honestly cant remember but im sure it wasn't much at all. i think they have a special going on or something. I remember being up there recently and they hooked someone up. Was well worth it to me. I track.street.strip and never had a Utec issue. Give them a ring. Also just don't go by price when it comes to tuning. Ask anyone here regardless of shop/tuner. Your paying for the quality of tune and NOT the bargain of a tune.

My drivability was fine. Never had any issues. I came to Roger@Japtrix with it already tuned and he re-tuned the car and smoothed it out even more for me and it drove better/smoother than the 1st tune. Roger def tuned to my driving styles (street/strip/track) and i never had an issue.

+1000

Roger provides a very smooth and thorough tune. He has been tuning for a very long time and really knows what he is doing.

Call japtrix and roger will take very good care of you. His tune for the utec is the best around. I have been driving with it for over 40k miles on my stock motor with zero issues with the transition. The car has been running fine at 9-10 lbs boost.

well just for the information. Who else in Florida can tune a utec besides Japtrix. Ive already striked out with my first tune with a Florida shop and I really want to look at more than one shop this time.

HP Logic

OP, check Utech's web site and look to see if they have a list of authorized dealers.

I've been putting down 400-405 rwhp since the aps kit and the utec have been installed. I have been realistic with the power on a stock block. I'm shooting for longevity not the highest hp before the motor blows...lol My dyno numbers are from a mustang dyno which is approximately 10% less than dyno jet numbers. Plus I have had my car on the dyno well over 50+ runs developing the utec tune for the shop. If you have any other questions about just ask.
