Default O2s for wideband

are 2005 and newer factory O2s widebands? to hook up a guage, the only thing needed is to tap an O2 wire?

Yes, 2004+ have wideband o2 sensors - but I am not aware of any way to simply hook a gauge to them. Nissan scan tools such as Uprev Cipher are able to decipher it in some cases, as well as the Haltech standalone. The stock widebands are primarily accurate in the 13:1+ AFR range, so they are not great for boost tuning.
