Default TN 350z build

Ok, so to start it off I don't post a lot on here, but it was the shame of not having a turbo! LOL anyways now it's come to the time that I will be getting one. So to start it off I've got a 03 z. Anyways should be ordering the TN tuner kit by the end of this month.

Since I'm in the midwest and it's snowing like **** and cold as hell outside, I've decided to install the gauges first. I've decided that all the gauge pod looks like *** and I wanted to keep a moderate stock look on the interior. So I decided to build my own gauge pod.

Here are some pics.

It's meant to go where the gps navigator was at. Thank you to Menards!

Why the TN kit? you should seriously look into other kits. Your gonna be limited with the TN kit. WAY better options out there for a kit..

*you're running turbo guages with no turbo

Mayby if its for road racing he doesnt need an insane amount of power? I think 350whp in a Z would be nice power on a track and not to hard on a stock motor. if he does the right supporting mods with a solid tune...

And its one of the easiest kits to install I guess?

edit...wait wasnt this just posted in the autocross/road section?

never mind

wow, why do people post this **** when there build hasnt even began and they are dreaming..obviously alot of searching needs to be done because there are much better kits now than a t-netics turbo kit, and then as far as gauge pod...my gauge pod sits in the cubby and if i close it u dont even know its there..must not have searched very well for that either...

p.s. heres where my gauge pod sits...dark not a very good pic but u get the point..very clean oem like and still a partly usable cubby and can close and its gone...good luck with ur searching cause thats what u need to do before anything

Take the next month and do research. I spent 6 months before I did anything and I can't tell you how many times I changed my mind on stuff. Two pieces of advice. 1. Don't do a TN kit for the simple reason that they are phasing it out and very few if any new ones are left. That being said the new hottness for a single turbo kit is the PowerLab kit. It's just better overall with a larger downpipe, better welds, components etc. PowerLab = 2008 / TN = 2000 Late. 2. Do an oil pan spacer and return to that (PowerLab kit includes this btw). Sure it is possible to have good results with a TN kit and I would consider it an option if you get a killer deal on a used one or something but I would still lean towards the PL kit especially if you are buying new. Are you really going to replace your GPS with gauges? Please tell me you just have the pocket storage area there.
