I've been converted to Unigraphics NX from SolidWorks (by mandate where I work) and I love it!

I'm an NX man now...

I have been teaching Solidworks at the HS level for just over a year. Great software IMHO. In case some of you dont know, you can do a lot of engineering on this CAD/3D modeling program such as stress test and tolerancing between parts etc... It is good stuff and makes me feel a little more confident about the possibility of this design having less problems at this early stage of development.

Being confident enough to provide a 3 year drivetrain warranty is a big reassurance and good sign of if a company feels they have a reliable product.

My students would love to play with this design. I think I will show them some pics tomorrow of it just to validate that the software they use in class is being used in industry.

zland-
If you want some badass SolidWorks screenshots (or part files for that matter) for show & tell/demo for the class let me know. I have some very interesting stuff.

pm me if you're interested.

Can you post a list of authorized dealers where this can be installed? Also, what is the projected install price at the dealer? I assume the dealer must install it to keep the warranty.

. . . . and a user friendly ECU Upgrade. . . . All Dream Workes SST systems have a 3 year / 36,000 mile power-train warranty serviceable through authorized Dream Workes or Nissan / Infiniti Dealers and are 50 state emissions legal. . . . .

I would like any more specifics that you can provide regarding the "ECU upgrade" and the "warranty."

Regarding the ECU, specifically I am interested in what type of "ECU upgrade" this will be . . . piggy-back, stand-alone, or reflash of stock ECU. Will ignition timing retardation be provided at higher RPM? Will the RPM redline be changed? Can you provide any specific manufacturer names for your "ECU upgrade" or fuel system components (injectors, pumps, etc)?

Regarding the "power-train warranty," I am interested if the warranty will be serviced at ANY and ALL U.S. Nissan dealerships. I assume not . . . only "authorized" dealers. If you could provide a list of currently authorized dealers it would go a long way toward legitimizing this claim.

Does this bolt straight on the top of the motor in place of the plenum? What about the strut bar?

Nick at DW claims the strut bar will go back on over the SC.
