Default Carbonetics clutch revisited..

So I posted a while back about the noise I was having with the clutch...sounds like its slow to disengage/ making noise etc...
Called carbonetics and ordered the throw out bearing he told me to use....R&R'ed the bastard yesterday..not a fun day but at least was able to use a lift ( Thanks Rick @ Uprev)...

So I did not hear the noise on the way home yesterday and all seemed well..drive the car today and the ***** is making the same racket.
My clutch pedal also has what I think is an erratic engagement/ disengagement issue. After the car is cold and I disengage the clutch, the pedal comes up off the floor about halfway before the car starts to move.....put the car in neutral and pump the clutch pedal 3-4 times and then the car starts to move as soon as I release the pedal off the floor. It seems like maybe there is air in the line or possibly the clutch master cylinder is FUBAR. I have already replaced the slave cylinder and bled the line several times..

I'm at a loss! any ideas? Maybe the damn rubber line is expanding when the pedal is pushed...not sure...I drove the car with the carbonetic triple for well over a year before this issue came up and it NEVER made this noise before....Ironically enough, I think I first heard the noise AFTER last years
big bend open road race...and here I am about 9 days away from leaving for BBORR 2010! HELP!

Pulling my hair out..been reading for hours....I guess I will install a new clutch master cylinder, stainless braided line and flush and fill with motul fluid..see if that makes any damn difference...

how are you bleeding the clutch?

i fought a goofy pedal for a while, i bled with a vacula, a pressure bleeder and i would still have a very inconsistent pedal. manual bleeding is the only way that seems to work.

My carbonetic twin engages/disengages right at the top of the pedal. I have a SS line, but am still on the stock cylinder and fuild. The SS line may give you more pedal consistency and the Motul fluid can't hurt.

Looking forward to this years race vid from you. Good Luck,
