total PITA and i havent even done the IC. You have to make sure everything is clean, dry and fingerprint free. Then you have to spray it and bake it. These last few pipes were too big for my oven so I used an infrared system which is quick but still a pain. The amount of mess in my garage right now is just crazy.

They say once you go black....
My wheels are gunmetal so they should match nicely!
Wasnt looking for too blingy of a color. I just wanted something different from stock so if you know what youre looking at you know its custom.

You shoulda snapped a pic!

I'm a glutton for punishment! Looks like I just gave myself a new project this fall while I prepare for my Twin Turbo install.

I may as well do something to dress up the pipes as I gather supporting mods

finished up my ic:

progress pic:

you can see where the powder is flowing out and the unaffected darker powder that has not flowed out. the total cure time for this piece was about 1hour and 45 minutes!

Very chistmas! hopefully shell run by then, be painted and tuned. Also red and green are complimentary. Ever see a redhead wear green shirts? They know it helps them out.

The parts look black/dark from afar. Only at a certain distance and with the right light will the green be very noticeable.

^i can link you to the two colors i used. I would suggest a different black though. The mirror black is very translucent. I have some dark gloss black that would have worked better and given more consistent results.
