Default I got the p1136 code

hey gus, i got the p1136 code, i read alot about it, but im still not yet found the problem, i check the pin 11 and it its ok, when i checked the harness i found that the pin 10, i also check it from the ECU and the signal comes from the ECU, i dont know why?

Couple of days ago i was driving and the cog belt from the SC cut the wires from the Intake Valve Timing Control solenoid, and it turned off, i take it to a dialer, and they "fixed it" it runs and starts ok, but i got that code, and if i plug the harness to the valve the idle goes terrible, so thats why i unpluged.

Does any one knows what can i do, what should i check?

ha, my belt did the exact same thing

your stock ECU is probably fried in the IVT outputs. Mine was.

Good luck

like i said in the PM, if you get a code or experience same symptoms as OP, then you need a new ECU.

Wait… the P1136 code is a bad ECU?

I’m having trouble with a surging idle on my car… and I’m getting the following codes:

P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P1111 - Intake Valve Timing Control Solenoid Valve Circuit Bank 1
P1136 - Intake Valve Timing Control Solenoid Valve Circuit Bank 2
P0031 - HO2S11 (Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 1) Heater Control Circuit Low
P0051 - HO2S21 (Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 2 Sensor 1) Heater Control Circuit Low
P0037 - HO2S12 (Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 2) Heater Control Circuit Low
P0057 - HO2S22 (Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 2 Sensor 2) Heater Control Circuit Low

it is if you chopped up your IVT wires with a shredded cog belt...

Unless NATS is disabled (UPREV flash with the NATS option turned off) you have to have it paired with your key by a dealer. If you're going to have to tow it might as well tow it to the dyno and let the tuner disable NATS since you're paying for an Uprev license anyways.

blown fuse(s)...? Check all wiring before replacing them.
