Default Switching to APS monster DP's and true dual exhaust, Will this effect my tune??

Just a quick question, Im switching from a 5zigen exhaust (Y-pipe, 2.75" single mid-section) to 3.5" DP's and un-silenced 2.5" true dual exhaust.

The car is still on its break in map (0.35 bar boost, 4.75K RPM rev limit)

Will the new exhaust system cause the car to over boost/ run lean to the point it is going to damage the motor??

I have to drive 300 miles to the tuner to have the final maps done once the exhaust is fitted.

Thanks for any feed back.

Well it should lean out tune a little across board (not a ton though) and should allow turbos to spool faster.

So assuming you are not on a ragged edge tune, you should have plenty of safety room in the tune......the changes you are going to see aren't going to be that big.

Thanks man, I was just worried i would over boost like crazy because people on here, It may have even been you said you ran a stock exhaust and then when you swapped out to a big true dual the boost jumped from 8-9psi to 20psi+ !!! My boost controller is by-passed at the moment so it just on waste gate springs.

Ive got a boost gauge and wide band so ill see if its boosting much more.

Thanks again.

Yea mine did that huge jump from stock exhaust to fully open downpipes lol.

If you are still on the springs then that is the max boost you should see.
