You can start by getting larger injectors and ditching the single 3" exhaust and getting a 3" true dual exhaust. You need to determine what your power goal is and go from there. Race fuel always helps too.

Injectors, exhaust and then the fuel pump will limit you eventually.

assuming the build is kosher...

First what boost is it making now (says "upgraded WG springs" so how much boost right now.

Next step would be bigger injectors, Boost controller (or different WG springs) and a new tune.

Also is the fuels system a return style, or non-return?

low boost is 11 and high boost is 17
Not sure if its setup for return or not ill check...
Im not new to cars by any means i just literally haven't had a chance to go through it. I did call Altered Atmosphere and they remember the car.
I bought it up here in NY and its silver

What size injectors should i get and what exhaust do you recomend? Lemme know i wanna get started on it now. I'd like to get the car to 700hp. So any information or websites i can brouse to learn more about this would be great. I have plenty of money to make this happen so im not out to buy crappy parts..Thanks in advance

You would probably want the 1000cc injectors to get into the 700 range and have no issues. Fuel return is a must. Cams may help, but Tom got there without them, so not required.... although him and Berto have freakishly fast cars.

Ok the boost controller I have is having problem staying at a specific boost level. its set for 11 and 17 pounds but if I have it on 11 it races up to 17 and sometimes beyond. Should i replace the boost controller or do you guys know what might be wrong with it. I'll take some pics of the engine bay as soon as I get home

Based on your posts, I really think a professional needs to take a look at our car, and setup. Uncontrolled overboost can quickly damage that engine. I'd have them establish a "current state" of your car. What is working, and what isn't. Then come up a gameplan to proceed.

We offer this service at our shop which has been really popular, both as a pre/post purchase inspection. It's very comprehensive.: https://my350z.com/forum/south-east-...by-forged.html

Yea get that boost control figured first!!!!!!!

Then 1000cc injectors are a good idea, and for power you want a twin pump return style fuel system is ideal.

Which Greddy turbos do you have (twin 18g's or 20g's).
Berto has made a lot of power in 18g's, but he has some large cams to help out.

I made 769rwhp on stock cams, but it was at 30psi of boost (so that means you need turbos that can flow a lot).

No more boost until you have that boost control issue fixed... take it to a reputable Z/G shop like Hills Garage in Baltimore. He might have even built your Z when he worked at AAM.

you might have gotten a good deal on the car but you've got at least 25k worth of parts/labor under that hood currently at risk.

yeah im familiar with 240s and the issues they have..350 is something new for me. I'm thinking about buying another boost controller in the mean time and trying to find someone that can send me a better basemap. Looking at upgrading the greddy turbos to dual 3071r with 64a/r..

Any boost controllers you reccomend?

another question for you guys. Taking a look at the build sheet. Do these blocks require sleeving. Like I said Im new to the vq so I'm not sure. i wouldve thought after the guy put that much work into the car that he would have sleeved the block. Should i have the block sleeved. Like i said I'm trying to get alot more power out of the car. Thanks

NO. Sleeves are unnecessary for a street application. As others said. Get the car checked out by a reputable person who knows these cars and modifying them. There are a few members local to you (MPD47) who know their stuff when it comes to this type of set up and could possibly help you greatly.

I really appreciate the help guys. Like i said I came from the 240 camp. So I'm new to these. I couldn't pass up the car though..This kid came to trade it in and I offered him 1000 more then we were offering so I think i got it for a steal at 14000. As long as I can get it running right I dont think i should have any problems..Thanks in advance. Cams are on the order with the turbos and fuel system...thinking about getting the fuel setup from GTmotorsports..What do you guys think about that

i wanna know how you are going to get GT3071s with a 3 bolt modified greddy/mitsubishi flange.

if you are going to do cams, might as well refresh the motor as well, rings, head gaskets, make sure you have ARP main and head studs.

If you really want 700whp, then you must go with this as well
http://www.gtmotorsports.com/product...cat=259&page=2

along with 1000cc injectors like mentioned above.

I have the main studs and headstuds already. The exhaust manifolds are probably going to be upgraded or I'll build them myself. I weld for a living and have built tons of manifolds. Cams I haven't ordered yet trying to get an idea of what to go with. Have someone looking at my car this weekend so hopefully i'll get a good path.
