ODEHBOY^ Sounds good man! Let me know.

Has anyone done the Spec Stage 3 clutch on the Z yet on the HR specifically? Any reviews?

I recently ordered mine at Vivid racing (spoke with Sean stated it should be perfect for my setup I didn't feeling like running a 6-puck engagment is rough especially 1st from what I hear)... I've done some research and heard only good things so far they also stated clutch pedal feel should be close to stock and it can handle up to 495 ft tq.

Stage 3 Spec Clutch for 2007-2008 Nissan 350z

495ft lbs torque

Types of Driving:
Street, Drag, Pulling, Autocross
Features a carbon semi-metallic 6 puck sprung hub disc that has been the leading puck clutch in drivability, life and torque capacity. This unit is designed for street and race cars that require an aggressive but streetable engagement and high torque capacity. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Also available in 3 puck configuration. Great for street, drag, road racing, pulling, rallye and drift.
•High clamp pressure plate
•Carbon-Graphite Friction Material
•High torque sprung hub and disc assembly
•Bearing and tool kit

I'm searching for a clutch and flywheel combo as well. I was looking at Vivid's Stage clutches, but had no clue who made them. I've read so many issues with HR aftermarket clutches, that I want to buy the right one--the first time. Let us know how it works for you.

There really isn't any issues with the aftermarket HR clutches. The problem is the slave cylinder. The only company that has actually resolved this is ATS. ZSpeedPerformance has developed a work around until they come out with their new designed CSC. My SouthBend clutch and Flywheel work perfectly with a new CSC and the bearing sleeve.

I was leaning towards ATS for that reason, but it's big $$$!

so is there a benefit to running a bov on each charge pipe over running a single bov off of the intercooler?

Thumbs up

Today, blow-off valves are a popular term describing pressure relief valves in automotive turbochargers whose inlets are located right between the turbo outlet and the intake throttle body. Their outlet is straight to atmosphere, and their actuation is intended to prevent turbo surge and boost damage upon rapid closure of the throttle under high power conditions.

Engine and Turbo Protection

•When used as prescribed, blow-off valves are designed to prevent compressor surge which is a condition where the rapidly spinning turbocharger which may be spinning at 100,000 RPM may suddenly decelerate to zero or even reverse itself when the accelerator is suddenly released at high engine power output. The after-turbo high pressure air is suddenly trapped after the turbo but before the throttle, reversing its own flow back through the turbo's spinning blades in the wrong direction. This can wreck a turbo unit or cause engine damage.

*It will be much safer according to this information.. With two bov's there is already 2 of everything with the HR motors*

If its a common core IC, you could run 1 off IC. But if its a 2 core IC then you need 2.

Even if it is a common core IC, can't hurt anything to have one on each intake tube, and if thats where you locate them, it will look more balanced.

Tom

EDIT - After seeing pics, there really is no where to put a BOV on the IC anyway....so that kinda makes up your mind for you right there.
