Vortech Uprev tuned by RT/Tuning
First off let me begin by thanking Vince and the guys down at R/T Tunning in Lansdale PA for the great work and help as I had some bump's in the road with my Vortech Kit. I was ready to post results almost a month ago when I was down there but my blower went bad on the ride home I have a 03 Non rev up that a friend and my self did the install on.
Mods: 7/9/2010
Vortech V3 SC 3.12 pulley
5/16 Iso Thermal Spacer
Strup Headers Jett hot Coated
Megan Test Pipes
Skunk 2 Exhaust
600cc deatschwerks
255 walbro
HPX MAF
On this day it was 92 F 46% Humidity CF: STD 413 WHP 339 TQ
I received my blower back from Vortech this week and put it back in the car and headed back down to R/T Tuning the only thing that I changed on the car is I swapped out the Megan Test Pips for MotorDyne ART pipes.
It was 93 F with 48% Humidity CF: STD 407 WHP 346 TQ
Overall the car rides good and strong I am so tempted to go with the 2.87 pulley but I know how I drive and push the car to the limit so this is good for now tell I build my spare long block I have. I will be going to the track soon to see what the car can do. Also I will see if I can get Vince to post up my charts or I will scan the ones I have now.

No I do not I would have to ask Vince for them and Str8dum1 I'm talking about way down low its not much if any lol oh well. I do like the ART pipe though it did tone down the loudness of the exhaust.

ya, looks like belt slip. THe torque and power both take a hit at the same time and the power is flat to redline. Superchargers BUILD boost to redline so the power curve should build all the way to redline (or pretty close to it).
first dyno both take a sharp hit at 6800. Second one they both take a sharp hit at 6200.
Torque will fall off, but it shoudl be gradual with no quick falls like shown in those areas. Same with power, it should slow down nearing the top but keep building to redline with a supercharger setup.

I tightened the belt down some more I am still seeing the same boost that I was before 10 at redline. I do plan on getting the GTM pulley mod the car ran strong today on the track even though I had bad traction with my crappy tires.

What happened when your blower "went bad"? Did it not make boost or was it just noisy?
ya, belt slip is a b@tch when you are S/C. If I would have known what I know now, with all the issues I have (belt slip being one of them), I would have stayed stock or gone turbo.
Anyways, there is only so many times you can tighten a belt before it becomes stretched and needs replacement. Also, the pulleys might become "glazed" if your belt is slipping for a long time. The GTM pulley mod and new belts (if needed) are probably good things to consider.
Btw, nice numbers OP, enjoy!

My first blower went bad on the way home after my first tune. I did a few pulls on the highway and once I got into traffic it sounded like rocks loud rattle leak oil all over the place.Thats when I took it out and sent it back to vortech.
