if it was flashing (that means gross misfire) , then you have a have a serious problem, either tune or ignition.

I stock plugs in that case. as far as smoothness, the car feeling like its pumping when I'm driving but I think that's because my EVC VI is controlling it in 6 PSI - my low boost setting.

Let me clarify my previous post. The car pumps sometimes when I up shift. This setup loves RPMs, and when I drive it like a DD, I conservatively shift around 2000RPM... which the car doesn't like.

Flashing SES light is really bad. That is worse than P0300 (your solid light). It means gross misfire. I've only seen that with either a bad coil pack, wiring issues, or a **** poor tune.

Get it fixed ASAP and lay low on the boost until then.

^ pretty much, it should be mentioned 5 more times LOL

Only time I have seen flashing SES the car was noticably running poorly (lost power) and turned out to be a bad coil pack. A buddy of mine also got it when his Vortech clogged his cats, and shortly after block grenaded. Just sayin'.

The flashing light is an issue but it's not the chief issue since it only happened 1% of the time. 99% of the time the SES is solid and annoying.

Thanks for the advise however, if it were to happen again then I'll have to stop what I'm doing and get it Function: Tuned right away. Anyways, I wouldn't be driving my Z anymore (except for the weekends) since I got the needed tires for my daily.

From what I gather from everyone's post, I either have a bad ignition system or my tune is shitty. I'll have to get it to FT for diagnosis. ...love you guys...

Hey guys as an update. I took the Z drifting this weekend and for some reason the SES turned off in the middle of the day. Ironically, I was driving the Z pretty hard and one of the instructors jumped in and drove the car even harder. I had appx 3 stalls throughout the day too. I don't get it - it's almost like the Z hates it when I have to daily it but doesn't ***** when I beat it up at the track.
