Default Have you had any problems with you ROTREX HKS S/C?

I'm not too bothered if the Vortech is the better kit or turbo is better as I've had a good offer on a Rotrex HKS S/C and is too good value to discount. What I want to know is are you happy with your ROTREX S/C?

Thanks, Cookie

ya but if something does happen, you'll be out 6++ months waiting for HKS Japan to do something.

the rotrex blower is a different blower from the one being used with the current hks GT supercharger kit. I haven't heard any complains about it nor see it aorund in this forum. If I were to get the rotrex blower, I'd take in consideration how old the blower is and how many miles on it. I think the blower has been out for hecka long

It's done 6k and as I'm in the UK, Vortech kits are about $5000 and this only about $3000 and is complete! Just looking how reliable the blower is really.

HKS makes good products. A small intercooler is the only issue I see with that kit and yes the vortech will make more top end power. For 3k you can't go wrong with the HKS and it has good mid-range power too.

You also have to take into consideration that there are 30 Vortech kits for every HKS kit in this forum.

Yea, tonys kit. Just want to make sure I'm getting the best blower for my coin. I haven't heard too much that's bad about this and no more than any other kit. I think that you'll only start getting problems if you ask too much from it. I.e fitting a tiny pulley. I want a stock kit for stock internals that will give me a safe power hike, so this sounds like a good bet.
