There is 100% nothing wrong with the car. The owner decided not to be in the test and it has to do with personal issues that have nothing related to do with the car whatsoever.

Again, we got a lot of ATI owners here. ATI has sold more SC than any other SC kit for the 350Z thus far. Can any of you owners help us out and involve your car in the test ?

I'd be in the test if it was in Arizona.

Default No ATI procharger in the shoot out?

Jeff -

I hope you find another ATI car for the test. I have no idea what happened to jritoli, but without the ATI, the test is bogus. Maybe ATI is afraid a piston will blow in front of God, country, and Sport Z Mag.

E_J - you are right. The fix is in.

Jim Jones:

The ATI person that owns the car scheduled to be tested (jritoli) had personal issues that where more important then this test. When he explained what they were, I agreed with him that those issues were of more important than his car being tested this weekend. Jack is a great guy and althought I really wish he could be involved, he cant. There are some things more important than this issue. I wish him good luck in dealing with those issues.

Now, we got over 25 other ATI SC owners on this site. Can anyone of you take his place??? We got a lot of people that would love to see an ATI SC Z is this test.

Jeff

FIX .....like when they say the fight was fixed ..... meaning someone paid someone to not show, or to throw the fight, or shave points as in a sporting event. In this case they are implying ATI doesn't want their system to be compaired to others for fear it will prove what most of us are saying ..... it is a poorly designed complete kit. Oh excusss me they no longer sell complete kits

No, no, no......this is just a joke from one of my earlier statements........i don't actually believe that........i know we'll be able to get one of the happy ATI owners, possibly even Dr Bonz, to step up and represent the ATI product.......after all, it's "an offer you can't refuse"

I believe it should be in stock form with the Aeromotive FMU to be fair not modified to work correctly like mine.

That just leaves Bonz and Jesse I think?

Come on guys go track and Dyno your stock setups into the ground, you talk the talk can you walk the walk with your Aermotive setups when you hit that timing at TDS on the dyno and track?

SPLAT....

Darn ....... if my stock clutch hadn't just given up the ghost, I would have loved to load my bone stock except for the ATI procharger complete kit Z on a trailer and driven out to CA from TX. I would have filled it up with good old 93 octane Texas gas before going to CA

Why don't you just use my current numbers
dynotuned 373 wrhp and 315 torque
best 1/4 mile 12.877
MPH 109.26
60" 1.859
AutoX Street Mod 2 1st place

On order today : JWT Flywheel/Clutch combo ..... 4 days to deliever so I should be up and running by Monday.

correct me if I am wrong but Running RICH wont cause you to detonate..Running LEAN will..IMBW

Yeah,

Maybe your plugs are fouling? How can you detonate and are you using the FMU? I think the whoosing sound of the air and in my case the rumble from the cat pipes can souns like detonation. I almost thought I heard it once, but it was just air and exhaust. My car is so dang loud an audible isn't possible

so that makes 3 of us getting detonation...........and as the temperatures get colder there will probably be more of us.......not good ATI!......maybe we need another "technical notice" about how this system was never meant to be used in winter months

You're right daking350......lean conditions can/will cause detonation.......however, since noahbuddy is running rich, it appears we have timing causing this.......those are my symptoms too.......everything fine on the A/F, but crackling in the engine bay!!!

I guess it's a good thing i didn't blow my money on a wideband O2......if i went by the AF readings, i'd be taking an oil bath by now

I believe there is too much of a variable between different cars and different FMU's given altitude and air temp...I am not looking for most horsepower as much as most reliable...I put my car away for the winter and will be adressing the issues one by one over the winter months..
1)bigger injectors(pushing the stock injectors past 100% duty cycle is just not reliable enough for me)
2)some type of ECU reflash with fuel maps and FULL timing remap.
3)larger fuel pump
4)better fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator...
This should do the trick for 400+ RWHP safely..

Now where to get the parts and best prices!!Vendors feel free to pm me with prices..

Sounds like a great plan King. I'd love to do the same things you mentioned. Mine is going away for the winter too. I'm waiting for one more decent weekend day to slap on some more Zaino and cover the car for the winter in my garage.

Mike at AA said he'd e-mail me with his latest upgrades or whatever he is planning. He didn't give me any details but I recall him saying something about better injectors. How much for the aftermarket clutch and flywheel? So far I have no sign of problems with them but I only have 3500 miles on since the Procharger and 8700 overall. Do you think if I don't track the car, I'll still need them?

Well I have already heated up my clutch already..Flywheel you dont need but a clutch that can handle the added power is a must..Trust me on this one..

I suggest the ACT clutch.

Yo King, where are you gonna get the fuel rails? I was thinking about this too but haven't seen them anywhere and don't even know where they are on our car. I think it would be icing on the cake.
