first of all, mods i just want a quick opinion then you can delete this.

since I've bought my car all of my money has gone into power mods.. it hasn't changed looks wise since i bought it, aside from the eibach 1" drop.
I've finally had enough of the sorta ricer look that the previous owner had back in 07, namely the grille and tail lights. Got some lights on the way that I've got some plans for, but I'm undecided about this grille. College keeps me pretty broke so these are mostly free mods..

the grille i kept to serve two purposes, to protect the intercooler from debris and to hide it for a sleeper look. But I've gone back and forth deciding to remove it or not. Pictures aren't the best quality, sorry, but I'd like your opinions before I cut out the factory grille. I'm just not sure i like the look of my intercooler...

the change is happening today depending on your thoughts because I'm cool either way. thanks for helping

Id say paint it black, it will be less noticeable and it will project your intercooler. Otherwise remove it

 

Paint the IC black, people will think is a radiator, until you start up.

Ditch the grille.

 

I have black mesh protecting/hiding my intercooler, so it just looks like nothing is there. I'd say that is the best option for form and function.

Lose the grille ASAP, those are the worst mod for the Z ever IMO.
