Its actually called a Bypass valve, not BOV like turbos, and its supposed to blow a lot of air out at idle...that valve keeps the excess air from your blower from entering your engine at idle or when you're not in boost; the BPV actually close when you get into boost...
And I can't help you with the ss box or tune; I didn't want to hassle with the wiring so I have Osiris for my tuning...

Also my bypass valve is leaking a insane amount. It blows alot of air out while the car is just ideling.we think the bov is defective. It is staying cracked open and we tried to adjust it but got no luck. I was pretty bummed out about this because I bet it sounded amazing, and the fact that it didnt work sucks. I'm using my friends bov as a temperory till I get a new vortech one. The car seems to be running really good. pulls very strong and everything else seems to work. I did notice the blower makes some odd noises lol but I think that is normal.
So if anyone could explain these please do.
1) missing cam wires on my 2003 ecu.
2) Stuck open BOV?
3) sometimes my idel drops kinda low but then goes back to normal? is this normal?
Readjust the bpv back to its original setting and put it back on the car. I bet you end up with more than 5 psi then
After driving the car for a few days I'm seeing 7psi I think. I know I'm hitting 6. Also am I able to put belt lube on the belts or should I not do this? Ill post pictures up of the car

ooo lol and before i get trolled for the random bits of ugly lime green in my engine bay that wasn't me. the dude before me thought it would look cool. im getting all the caps painted the blue the cover is and getting rid of the crusty lime green.
Anyone think it's ok to use belt lube on the vortechs belts?
do you mean belt conditioner? I wouldn't because its sticky and will just attract more dust. I did it once and it gummed up my pulley so bad it had to dig out all kinds of crap. Are you worried about belt slip? I thought you were getting that GTM pulley upgrade?

I was just gonna put it on there to maybe help the belts I figured
Thanks man for that great info! I already said I searched if you can't read. I'm just looking for extra advice I havnt read since I'm doin the install saturday
Obviously you can't use the SEARCH mechanism on this forum if you haven't found anyone doing their own Vortech supercharger install.
Also, how do you have a vortech kit and be on a budget for installation? Contradiction is all I see in your posts.
