Default HP vs TQ

Gotta question. I have recently finished parting out almost all of my previous 350Z turbo build but was starting to look to a new project and one that I was thinking was either a 370Z or a HR 350Z. My question is, I had 365whp and 360wtq and I was very happy with this for most of its life but still wanted a little more. Now I see the stock blocks on the HR motors making close to 500whp but the wtq is about the same as my old setup. I'm trying to figure out if the car will be faster or if it will "feel" faster. The 370s seem to be the same. I know its kind of hard to describe a feel of a car because everyone is different but I rode in a 420whp supercharged 350Z before and it felt slightly slower than my TN setup.

I ask this because I know that I can't cut all corners but after doing my last build I know there are some things I can do without and don't want to spend as much as I did before on this build.

They are mathematically related.

If hp>>tq that means it's power is made in the upper Roma generally, above 5200rpm.
Other way around means low end power and a lacking ripened.

You truly want as much tq as you can get at any rpm.

IMO you need a balance between both. You can have all the HP in the world, but if you're not able to put it to the ground (tq), you will always be lagging!

Yeah I know they are related, tq is measured, hp is calculated. The only thing I've never been able to wrap my head around is how is the hp and tq on my Z setup almost equal and yet the 370s have the same tq as mine but another 150whp with only another .2 liters displacement. So will a 370Z with 500whp and 365wtq be the same as my 365whp and 360wtq.

Well.. It's got more hp due to most likely making the 360 lbs of torque at a higher rpm than ur old setup. The one with more hp would be faster from a moving start.

I'm not sure I think I'd have to look at some dyno sheets to see.
