I haven't contacted Kyle@IPP yet. I really don't know what to say to Kyle, since the last two engines was done locally. (Only used the pistons and cylinder block from his short block)

Kyle is a great guy and he helped me a lot in the past.

Sorry to hear about this... I have had a small taste of the trials of FI- most of it being financial.

I've got that JWT 700 going in as well and hoping for better luck. Already been bent over once but hopefully this time I'll go the distance.

If nothing else I find it takes a special kind of person to navigate the snakes and ladders of hardcore FI... Any chance at all this is just your p1ssed off self talking and when the cooler mind prevails you'll fix the car up good as new and stay on your path? I mean, Sylvan has said he's parting out his car since I joined the community and last I checked it's still together.

Perhaps once the frustration dies down you'll get over it? Or are you set in stone?

i learned the hard way first time. if let someone cook for ya, let them buy the groceries. one shop stop is the best way to do it. let the shop build and provide all the parts that way you have no one else but the shop to blame if something happens.

Why would you keep buying blocks from the same place if they keep grenading?

Its not because of tuning (car never made it to the dyno).
I talked to MAS Tuning a couple of times and I don't think I will take my car to them now, and maybe ever

I only got one short block from Kyle, the one that spun a bearing after 3k miles

The last two engines was done locally. (Only used the pistons and cylinder block from his short block.
