Unhappy APS kit Q

Hi guys, one question that I've tried searching for but coming up blank is the following:

I've got the non-tuner kit installed in my car and having issues with putting the cover plate back on after the mods to the fuel pump, have anyone else experienced these issues? looks like the fuel pressure regulator sticks up to much to make a flush install of the lid, anyone experienced the same? Or did you guys all ditch the fuel kit and got a full return one installed?

If you still on stock block, just ditch the APS crap and get DW 600cc injectors and a Walbro fuel pump and call it a day. No need for a FRS.

I dont have a FRS, thats the extreme fuel kit from aps and that does not locate the fuel regulator at the fuel pump either rather in the engine bay like the rest of the FRS systems. My Q is the non tuner kit from APS that uses a walbro pump and fuel regulator on top of the fuel pump. I got a built engine.

HERE Is the link to the manual side of things to maybe better explain it:

Put in there without the bracket and it should not move around much
that should resolve your issue

That's the way I found mine installed after it was originally done by a shop that is no longer around and had no issues. the hoses held it in place pretty snug
