I have a 2003 but recently just bought a a set of coolant hose. I notice there is a subtle difference in the front hose.

I tried looking up different parts number but they are the same/ and just says 2003-2006.





Now with my vortech kit, the bracket runs in front of the hose and engine. And it pinches because of the difference.


Does anyone know the right hose variant?

 

There is no difference in the hose unless vortech included in the kit....as you will have to make it fit.

 

I don't have both the hose anymore, but side by side they is a difference. My old hose fit fine, the new one does not.

The 2 pictures shows the difference also. If you look closely one of the bends is different.

Just trying see if the variant has a name. So I can order the right one.

 

I would just eliminate that front hose all together. Cap off the pipes on both ends. That's what I did and no problems to date.
