Default Greddy+UPREV+HR=Amazing

Hey guys, just wanted to post this up, we finished it a lil while ago but never got around to posting about it. Greddy Tuner kit that we tuned on UPREV for a customer at 6lbs, and then a few months later came back and wanted to run 10lbs.

Pic after Alignment fresh from the Body Shop

All of this was done with a Greddy Turbo Ti-C Exhaust with the 1 3/4 in silencers left in!!!!! The cust wanted it to be quiet and have power so the tune took a lil extra work to make smooth. If you notice the power that drops off at higher RPM, that is the effect of the silencers. With them out I would assume we would be at 525whp pretty easily All this with great idle, smooth starting and passing PA Emissions without a hitch

Dyno @6lbs compared to @10lbs

***Mods i originally posted this in VQHR subsection by accident, If you need to delete one I apologize***

I'm sure the owner is happy with his new found power and his custom paint job. What color is that, and do you have more pics of his car?

type e rear end???

and tell him to take the silencers out, mine (and many others) is fine without it, just don't boost past cops like an idiot and they will never know

Love it. I hate those silencers in that exhaust, took forever to get out.

Any vids?

WOW the HR engines breath so well... at 6psi we're close but I could only dream of that kind of power with only 10psi.

Thats about what i made @10psi, except with alot more TQ, i'm sure it would make more without the silencers though.

RTT congrats on the awesome #s

I tried to convince him to remove the silencers but he wanted them in no matter what. We did do a dyno at 6lbs without the silencers and we made 18 more Ftlbs of TQ, but didn't really bother to check it at 10lbs, Id assume we are about 30-40 Ftlbs lower then what I would expect...

awesome power on a stock block.

are these the 18g turbos? I thought they produce boost a little sooner than 10psi ~4300 rpm. What's different on the HR that changes this?

Pretty Sure they are 20g's as well, he purchased a Tuner kit and then we did all the injectors and the UPREV after that. I think some of the spool is still related to the silencers being in the exhaust as well....

I asked the customer what the color was and he said it is:

"3 stage pearl paint is made by PPG it's called "Midnight Sapphire" and has 5 coats of clear."

Cant find all the pics I have of it but here is one from our facebook...
