Default advice for my FI goals

my goal is about 5-7 psi of boost and maybe additional 100-150 whp im assuming FI is the way to go over NA but super or turbo is the issue. from what i understand sts will do this but is that correct too? i know there are tons of forums but i havent found a simular post. i have a 2005 base with 90k. i go to the stip once in a blue moon.but i enjoy getting to the speed limit fast and shooting through corners and the wavy roads. also if anyone knows a rep tuner in NC that would be awesome
thanks guys.

This has been asked and answered 100x just this year.

Nobody here will help you if you arent willing to do basic research and help yourself.

I hope when you take a $hit tomorrow, your a$$hole prolapses into the bowl for making me type this response out for the 1379th time on these fawking forums, FML....

well i have read tons of forums and i stilll havent found this "all answering" forum that everyone talks about. im going on about my 140th page of forums on FI. i was asking for so adivice for my situation since i still havent found the forum. ive asked a couple of my co-workers but but they have civics so im not putting that in the "good" imformation list. they deffinately offered alot in the sc vs st vs tt. so im asking the z owners. but if you could point to one of these forums that you all speak of that would be awesome. and not one that the debate died out on in like 2007. 4-5 years alot has happened with the aftermarket support for our monsters.

Hahahaha prolapse.....I'd link a video so everyone knows what it is, but it's too disturbing

But in all seriousness OP have you looked into an electric turbo? All of the awesome HP of a turbo with zero lag, seriously look em up. People just don't get them cause they aren't as JDM as they'd like em to be. It is like God kicking the **** out of the back of your car, you just ******* go super fast

look through FI forums for the HUNDREDS of build threads. open each thread and read about the build and what their goals are and waht they produced. Then you will see waht things people are doing and what power levels they are getting. A lot of them even have how much money the whole setup even cost.

It almost requires no research. There are so many builds for different power outputs you just pick one and buy all their stuff and you will get similar results.

also, never judge power by PSI. Boost is just a measurement of pressure (resistance to flow). An 88mm turbo at 7psi of boost produces a hell of a lot more power than a 57mm turbo at 7psi. It's about flow. Look for your hp number, not boost number.

What exactly is your situation and how is it different from anyone else that is boosting their cars?

You live near National Speed in Wilmington. Just go there, get a Momentum single turbo kit installed and tuned. Let them work out all the details.

It will cost you about $7000 out the door.

Sounds familiar. Try this thread where a user had a similar question:
https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exhaust/537182-advice-for-power-gains-2.html

Budget is $3-$6k ? Unlikely going to be able to do it...
