slow down fellas.

as a company owner, things happen in which you have to stop...FOR NOW.

I have a gut feeling with such a product, they are not leaving for long....

stand by for future drug deals, you never know what can happen in this economy .

one business loss is a captilalization or cannibalilzation to another

totally OT statement: 325s are weeksauce tires! 345s in the work without widebody bisshes!

Over priced? What are you comparing to?

i dont see how a 325 is weak sos.
Your tire may be bigger.. but im really not concerned. These were hard enough to locate and pay for. Ill let it slide as you sound heavily caffeinated haha.
and FWIW..Mine lay flat w just under -.5 degree camber and very little toe. Kinda the point of having big tires.

lets go BACK on TOPIC..

Question

pulling fenders bro. i run stock camber always w 305s now -1.5/2

widening some 370z high offset rims to 19x12 w spacers with arp studs

also I have a G35,pic of 305s on 19x10 370z rims

like I mentioned. its bad Momemtum is having some present difficulty, however just stand by for thier is always other investors and people who want to make this community great.

I would think with the shops that put these kits on (minus those that the momentum kits makes look bad) would want to partner/join, help out such a quality improvement to the G35/350z platform.

lets start a pole as to whom would be willing to invest in Momentum. Since we all are having such a hard time with the loss. whos in to drop a few bucks to get them started again?

Also yall need to calm down a bit about the 325s I was just giving you shizt because the topic is getting all serious. 325s are fine, however I want to run a 345. I have only ran a 305 so how can I really talk trash about a 325. I guess yall dont know my personality very well...

anyways call up momentum and ask about future plans!

You're both doing it wrong, 295's on 18" type F's is the way to go.

Get outta here with those escalade wheels and tractor tires.

Ha!

Twin kits or BP single that are available on here. But this is just my opinion. For $6900 i'd rather have twins than a single which sits in the already hot azz nuts VQ engine bay. I've seen the track vidz etc.. so i have no desire to debate and or bash Momentum at all. They did seem honest in putting out a solid product. For that they should remembered in a positive light.. Again not a bash at all just personal preference.

As a former employee of Momentum, I fully believe in the products they sold. The idea behind the company was a great one and the products were wonderful, but it came down to the one(s) handling the money and dealing with the ones who's money it is that you're playing around with in the business.

With everything they had to offer to the public, it had the potential to go a long way, but ultimately certain decisions will either set you straight or have dire consequences and that's what happened.

damn this is true. i just ordered some momentum performance control arms from z1 and i just got a call regarding my order and they informed me they are closing doors over the phone
this makes me sad i was looking to eventually purchase a turbo kit from them since all the reviews were top notch on that kit.

Tip of the cap to MP for that - since there are so many horror stories about other vendors who "remain" in business not shipping orders, at least in a timely fashion, this says something about the company. Especially given Russ' take on things.....

I'm late to the party, but couldn't this just be a legal move to remove said investor? Come back with similar to same product, under a different name (assuming all the intelectual property remains) and rebuild with different relationships in place that make for a better business model?

Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but it seems like a possibility. The product exists, the research is done, now it's just a matter of building and selling. Brand building will occur over time, similar to what Sasha has done with BP.... and probably how Momentum should have done. One kick@ss video and attenticn to packaging and half the forum was sold on the momentum kit.... and to back it up, they seemed to offer a great kit. I don't think this will be the last we see of it... but what do I know....

I am not surprised that momentum performance went out of business.... I own a business and I know and somewhat understand their situation....

Their products are good yes but their are dozens of competitors that are capable of producing the same results and the z being such an old car the customer demand is not enough for people to buy the products. And the cost of course is enormous for car performance parts.... So momentum performance was probably facing the following

Lack of customer demand for such a old car as the z
high costs associated with their products therefore a low customer base pool
A lot of competitors creating kits that can produce the same type of power

I bought a lot of momentum products back then from z1 motorsports and sad to say many of the momentum products are still on z1 motorsports till today means it's been sitting on a shelf for 4 years nobody is buying...
