Default Turbonetics AEM EMS

Bought this kit used with 550injectors. Got it installed about a month ago and the car runs great on the highway, but it has a rough idle and sometimes it will shut off at idle where the slip and check engine light come on. Never reflashed the ECU just tuned AEM EMS. Anyone got a solution for this idle?

I have the TN system on my '04 Z. Did you already have the car tuned or you just bought a pre-tuned EMS and just installed that?

I am using a Greddy E-Manage Blue and it works great.

When you say just tuned do you mean you slapped the AEM with a base map or did you take it to a tuner?

If you took it to a tuner I would suggest you have them adjust the throttle position sensor. This sounds similar to what alot of guys have an issue with on the Utecs. Took me two years to figure out that the TPS in the stock ecu isn't set at 100% and the piggybacks typically are tuned for that creating a discrepancy in the voltage. You may just need to have the stock ecu flashed to 100% TPS. That's what used to happen when I ran my Utec.

If you shut the car off and then back on does the slip light go off and the car come out of limp mode?

AEM EMS needs a custom harness to work on the z33, and there are many different boxes.

So when you say "I bought this kit" nobody knows what you are talking about... especially when you put the word turbonetics in front of aem ems.

Either way, if you can't figure it out yourself, just go to a tuner.
