It worries me your tuner doesn't have answers for you and that you are fishing online.

Ok. According to what my tuner has told me they are still trying to find the exact cause of the misfire. Only happens under full load. I asked about the fuel pressure and afr at time of the misfire and they say there is no problems with fuel delivery or afr. I asked about spark blowout they said its possible but they gaped it down to to prevent it.(I forgot what he said it was). I asked about crank position sensor and he said that was not the case. They look at the car a little every day but are very busy shop with no down time between scheduled cars coming threw. They said the cars 95% done and just need a little time to figure out the cause of the problem. They also told me that aero motive just came out saying try no longer support e85 on there pumps. Wtf I have not heard that before. All the more reason to get dual walbros I guess.

Mabey the throttle body could have something to do with this? I dunno but the car idles high after taking manifold off to check injectors. After trying to reset and re learn throttle position nothing seems to change. Let car sit battery disconnected for awhile and bumped the brakes that didn't work either.

If there isn't a problem with the fuel delivery, why did he mention the problem with Aeromotive?

high idle after removing the intake manifold, is most likely a vac leak. YOu see a change in the amount of vaccum being pulled at idle? should be around 20"Hg

One other thought quick with the breaking up could be the coil packs themselves, one could be faulty and unable to operate at high loads. I had this problem in my audi about a year ago, great around town but as soon as i'd punch it getting on the highway or pulling out somewhere, it broke up. Replaced the bad coil pack and problem solved.

Are you not getting any codes what so ever that you can pull from? Using osiris you can't turn any of the sensors off or N/A. Are they tuning using osiris or UpRev? I'm wondering if something might not be calibrated properly since your reflashing the stock ecu and the MAF might not be calibrated.

Because we were trying to run e85 threw the pump. The pump is fine for gas but recently aero motive said they no longer support the use of e85 because of problems with it. he was just warning me. The pumps working fine as of now thoughz

They just say that. None of the new rubber materials are affected by e85. They are just trying to minimize their liability.

The coil pack idea sounds like something i would look into. I think some other people have had issues under high load with coil packs but they work fine when cruising. Maybe see if you can borrow some from someone and swap them out to test.

So the car runs really good no fuel problems. They said that it shows up as a slight misfire around 5000 rpms but u can't notice it in the car. It just shows up on the computer. Hopefully new coils clean it up

well if you can't feel it then how do they know it's not just "false knock"? I was thinking this was a bad misfire that you could feel. Our knock sensors are notorious for giving false readings.

Not sure what your talking about. I'm telling u what they have told me. Im just impatient waiting for the problems to be resolved and I'm thinking out loud what they could be and seeing if anyone on here has had the problems I am and how they resolved them. I was getting a little mis communication with macautsports because I would talking to whoever answered the phone so I got a little different info each time.

They called me yesterday and told me it runs great now. Talking to jessi and Mac it sounded like it was really bad misfire. But when I got to talk to nick he said it wasn't the case. Just shows up as a slight misfire on computer. Not noticeable in car. He said its not knocking or showing up that way. They gapped the plugs down more and more until its barley there. Cannot go any further with te gap now he said. They ate hoping the coil packs will eliminate it completely. This is latest info I have.

I'm doing some research on the hks ignition deal. Mabey it will help my ignition hiccup?? From what I've read it might help with blowout on high boost. I'm running 17psi I don't know if that's considered high boost but might as well give it a shot. Bad idea?
