Default starter removal with greddy tt. enough room?

my starter went out. I am not around my car right now. but was just thinking about how much space may be between the starter and the turbo. I'd hope that greddy designed this kit with this in mind..... not going to get to working on this till tomorrow. anyone had to do this and found it to be a tight fit? or am I just trippin about this?

Dean, I pulled my starter last year because I thought it went out. The only thing I had to undo was the bottom oil return line on the turbo. I unbolted it at the turbo so I could push the line out of the way to give me some room to maneuver the starter. Then the starter came out with a little bit of back and forth and twisting. It was surprisingly easy.

I wish I had taken some pics just in case, but you shouldn't have any issues bro!! Good luck!!

cool.

as a matter of fact, I made some time to get under my car just 5 minutes ago and took a peek. un bolted the starter and came to the same conclusion - oil return needs to be unbolted and it'll come right out. had just enough time to unbolt and see what needed to be moved.

thanks for the quick reply. glad that's all you had to do to get it out.

Yes, you should be ok, it's pretty easy to get out and replace.
