maybe i am way off but people are saying the e-manage is password protected... i would assume this means it comes pre-tuned ... am i right?

i am sure it would be a conservative program, but this would also make it a truely bolt on system?

 

I think they kept the emanage settings at a very conservative level to keep your motor from blowing up, so I guess you could consider it a bolt on. To fully experience the potential of this kit that you blew almost 7 grand on, I'd take it to a pro tuner and have a custom map made based on your car.

 

of course i plan to do that... but i wanted to make sure its ok to drive around for a few days/weeks till i could find/get to a good tuner that knows emanage
