Getting back to my post, yea America does have the supercharged thing down packed, no doubt about that. What I meant to say is that I don't want to put a kit on my Z by a company that makes superchargers for Mustangs and Camaro's , big V8's and what not. I would trust a company like HKS since they are a reliable Japanese aftermarket company. Also, Japanese tuners test their product extensively before releasing it. Perfect example, ATI. How many motors have blown due to this product. Lots of companies like Vortech, for example, have gone the right route and R&D their product and didn't just jump in to be the first company to make a FI kit for the Z and cash in before anything else was available. Again, I'm not bad mouthing any american companies here, They all make great respectable products that I'm sure those who have purchased them are happy with but I will not put anything American on my car since I've had very bad experiences with american aftermarket parts. Just my opinion, no more, no less.

[ooooohhhhhhhhh! 200hp supercharged Toyota. This is really gonna be a tire scorcher that will probably blow every motor it goes in. First off, if you read the post, this kit can be dealer installed therefore retaining a factory warranty. And where in the hell does Vortech's name come up anywhere in that column? Do any aftermarket FI kits for the Z offer a Factory 'NISSAN' warranty, and I don't mean some 3rd party warranty. Like I said, I know whats goin in my car and it won't be anything American. Everyone knows Japanese products are top notch compared to those produced in America. I don't know what your tryin to accomplish by postin a response to my post Forced, but I hope you understand that you are comparing Apples to Oranges. A 200hp Toyota is in no way, shape or form comparable to a Z. Oh, and teh215, did you hurt yourself? Get back!

I don't want to take away from HKS on this thread, but in response to ZDreamZ....how do you feel about Toyota and Vortech being in development for the new TRD supercharger for the new Scion tC Sports Coupe? Here is the car at the Detroit Auto Show:

You basically said American products were lame, I was mearly stating the fact that one of the biggest, if not the biggest Japanese car manufacture has chosen an American company to develop a supercharger system with. That is the point I was trying to make. I was not trying to get into a power battle with you.
just the other day i was saying that i wanted to get the front fenders , hood , front bumper, doors, and hatch all in c/f and do some awsome fade concept.
sweeeeeeeet now they make the hatch, now alls i got to do is find some c/f fenders and doors.
