Car idles high. Cel is multiple random miss fires. The car honestly sounds like its cammed or like the sti . No smoke anything. Lost a lot of power .

Did you perform a cylinder power balance test ?, You can use cipher to do it easily .

Blew threw a rod through the oil pan.

Looking back the noise wasn't cam noise. As stated in the thread it's only on start up.

So I doubt it was phantom knock or a bad knock sensor. Your car was telling you something is wrong and you kept driving it. It obviously was real knock that caused destruction. I said to check the injectors and harness. Not trying to be mean but this is why you just take it to someone who is skilled.

Changed the vvt an rattle was gone. An knock sensor was also a issue had a bad harness. Solved the low input ks code. An you mention electrical. An check the harness not the injectors. An driving it wise I started it an took it around the block a morning a week. Fuel in oil was the problem.
