Default CEL P0507 code

hi there,

Im posting here since my car has Vortech setup..

recently got the above code P0507 (Idle Speed Control System) twice within a week.

I have a 2005 Base 350Z, 47,000miles
Vortech tuner kit, with 3.12 pulley, I reach exactly 9lbs boost at WOT..
with walbro pump, plugs, 600cc injectors etc.. all the norm stuff.

I have never gotten this P0507 code since ive owned the car for 7years..
ive gotten misfire code couple times.. long ago in past.. but have not gotten it again since..

ive researched abit in Maintance section.. but my car is not experiencing any of the symptoms other people descdribed whove gotten this code...

in fact when the code came, the car drove 100% as normal..

other people described rough idle, jumpy rmps, could not get above certain amount of rpms, problems with cruise control ( which I dont have with base model), others mentioned they had to replace their ECM unit, which I dont even know what that is..

and given I have vortech on, car drove and pulled as normal, hitting 9lbs boost when the light was on..

as mentioned the first time it came on.. it went off within the same day after several starts..

the second time it came on today.. I passed by my buddies place, and we just erased it with his code reader..

so thats about it.. my car does not show any issues... but ive gotten this code twice now within 1 week.. I will see if it comes back or not as of now, hopefully it wont.. but something tells me it will again..

if anyone can offer any feedback would be greatly appreciated..!

Tony.

I assume you have Vortech or other form of FI running..?

regarding my idle.. it is as normal and idles perfect at 1000-900rpm which it was set at when the car was tuned with Uprev..

even with my AC turned on, it will spike to just under 1100rpm for couple seconds and then drop back down to 1000.

if its of any relation to this code.. back in April I had my AC repaired.. it was non-functional for over a year. one of the rubber AC hoses got cut underneath by one of the belts, because after the Vortech install, the hose was too close to one of the pullies underneath. long story short my kit was installed at one shop 2years ago who ****ed me, and thats when the AC hose got cut. I took my car back and finished it at another shop 100% perfect. but I left the AC non-functional for all of 2013. and then got it repaired this spring. the AC works 100% now.. but thought id add this info incase it offers anything. I dont see why it would, the AC has been functional for almost 3months.. but just code this code first time last week..

highly interested in any feedback..!

do an idle air relearn. the blower is putting extra load on the idle and it's probably out of load range.

hi much thanks for the feedback, I did see this as an option.
but I do not have any idle issues.. before/during/after the code comes.

ive been running the Vortech setup for 2 years.
the car is driven daily when its not raining, with spirited WOT pulls, up to full boost etc..without any problems.

I dont see why the blower would be making the ECU pull this code all of sudden.

the other thing that I thought.. could a soon to be finished clutch have any impact on this..? I will probably change my clutch soon.. its not slipping but my friction point in first gear is very high.
