almost 500whp
Hey guys just looking for some advice or insight here. I have an 03 track model, with v3 vortech kit. Running 8.1 wiseco pistons, eagle rods, upgraded studs bearings etc to build up bottom end. 600cc dw injectors, 340lph aeromotiv fuel pump, cjm stg0 fuel return system, treads tone 1200hp rated intercooler, long tube headers to borland exhaust (no cats), 2.62 pulley, revised belt layout, timmrod strut, snow water meth kit plenum spacer, oil cooler, gt maf, and Osiris tune.
With these upgrades on 91oct we made 473whp and 417lbs at 9 lbs. I was really hoping to break into the 5s.
can anyone lend advice on how to get there?

The cogs are whatever they come as in the kit. Tuner said fuel was fine and had plenty left cause of the return system. Don't know why we are only at 9lbs to be honest. I know there is supposed to be more boost on that pulley size though. I set goals at the beginning of the build, and so my life would change by about 30hp, haha jk. It's about accomplishing what I set out to do. Yeah I know turbos would get me there but at the onset of the build I wanTed to go votech. As a side question and not to get away from the main reason of the post, so still help me out if possible... but what would one have to do to convert to turbo with the upgrades I have..? I also forgot I have the jwt clutch and flywheel.

Do you have a Boost Log?
What cams do you have?
I think it is one of two things or both, because the Hp should not flatten out @ 5800rpm and the torque fall off like it shows in your dyno.
Also even with 8:1 CR and your set up you should be seeing more than 9psi. Based on where the HP flattens outs it looks like you should be around 11-13psi @ 6600rpm.
1. Belt Slip
(Ever with the "TimRod Radius Rod", with the 2.62 the belt needs to be tight, but still should hold 20psi. Your are better off with a 2.87 serp and a 34/28 cog)
I would be able to verify if you have belt slip or not if you have a boost log without smoothening. But if you dyno log is good then you have a boost leak.
2. A Boost Leak
With that blower you have at lease 50whp left in it.
Once you get the Boost problem fixed, I'd raise the rev limiter to at lease 7000rpm. but lets find out about your cams before going any higher.
Man, i can't believe a good tuner would see that log and let you drive away without telling you that there is a problem.

you have belt slip.. belt need to be tight more. buy HD belt from Gates.
also 99% you have boost leak somewhere..
2.6 pulley will slip belt.. go to 2.87 pulley and 34/28 cogs and you gonna make big power.

I should note that once you get the boost problem fix and reise the rev limiter , I think you will run out of fuel.
A CJM Stage 2 is in order, and perhaps a larger injector.

Now that I look at your dyno more closely you have belt slip. You can see a dip just before 5000rpm and the HP take a big dip there too. So it is likely sliping all the way to redline.
Take the belt up 1/2 turn at a time in till slip is gone.

Thanks for all the input guys. I have tried to tighten the belt way down before and never got more than 9lbs. I think ill go back to the 2.8 and switch up the cogs. Then do the stg 2 fr... if anyone knows anyone selling the cogs I would need let me know.
Is your belt to long to get tight enough?
