Haltech Stand alone in Limp Mode
Hi,
To cut a long trouble shoot short, I had sent my Haltech Stand alone unit off to Oz to get repaired due to a startup issue, as in, my 350z was not starting.
The reason why it was definately the Haltech unit is that I have two Haltech units, I swapped out the complete Stand alone unit for my piggy back unit working with the stock ecu to find out the Stand alone was at fault.
After spending 500$ on shipping and getting my Stand alone unit back, it was put in the car, the car starts now which is great! but its in limp mode with no throttle response.
If I replace the stand alone unit with my Haltech Piggy back and the stock ecu then I have no issues.
Haltech are saying its an issue with my throttle voltage and I am asking if you guys have any other ideas as to me it seems as if the stand alone unit is the issue if limp mode goes away when putting in the piggy back unit with stock ecu?
Thank you in advance for reply.
Andrew
