For now, Tanabe GF210 springs on stock shocks. I do plan to get coilovers but I had already had these sitting in the garage and might as well put them to use. Gave a nice 1" drop all around and still gives me clearance to not scrape over driveways, ect.
I like where this is going sir. What all do you plan to build your new engine with?
Still up in the air on what I all want to do with it but for starters, build the bottom end and probably run Eagle rods and wiseco pistons with arp rod bolts. I'd be perfectly satisfied running 550ish whp and be able to abuse the hell out of it on the track. I thought about either picking up a 2nd vq block this summer and start having it built or just saving and buying a built short block.
Has been slow progress on the Z lately, but got around to cleaning up the turbo and painting the cold side of the piping in my boredom over the holiday weekend. Had a few unexpected expenses come up but getting closer to installing the kit. Biggest challenge right now is finding a heated shop space that I can rent out for a few weeks.
Does Turbonetics still flash the ECU for this kit?
I'm not aware whether they still or not. I bought the kit used and last i knew, they still were. I'm currently tuned with uprev so i'll just be reflashing it and using the gt maf to help dial it in a little more.
Not bad. Look into some other rear bumper, like chargespeed because it's way too high up compared to the sides. Or at least put some diffuser on the back.
Thanks everyone for the compliments. Weather is starting to turn in nebraska and the paint guy is paid off. Last weekend I spent the majority of it cutting the front bumper to make room for the intercooler. It went alot smoother than i expected but was nerve racking.
As far as the rear bumper comment, i'm working on it. I felt the same way, it's too high and too plain compared to what the rest of the car has going on. I'm working on getting dimensions together for a diffuser I'm going to be piecing together. There's a few available diffusers but everyone has the same 2 styles. I'm going a more custom route and going to try finding a version of a diffuser off an M series and do some cutting to make it fit. With some trimming, the M series diffuser I'm looking at fits the area within the bumper tuck really well.

Made some progress but ran into a few snags.
Haven't had a chance to research it much but haven't had much luck so far finding the correct fuel rail spacer needed to allow the RC injectors to fit.
Still have to track down missing misc. pieces here and there but the install has so far been a breeze. Waiting on some clamps and gaskets to show and i'll be able to install the rest of the piping and wrap it all up.
Summer has been busy and haven't had a chance to work on the Z as much as I'd like. I thought I would have been finished months ago by now..
I used to use RC Injectors...the provided the spacers needed for the 350z application; they should be able to sell you some...

If you're willing to but it won't be my problem anymore. Just going to sell them off for a $100 bucks.
Last night I spent 3 hours trying to find the correct size through forums and vendor sites and just decided to buy OEM GTR 550cc denso injectors. Less of a headache and they're direct plug and play. Buddy with his rear mount sts kit uses them and loves them.
I might be too late to this but I have plug and play ID injectors thst I just pulled off my car. I'm the original owner and they have 10k miles and work like a charm

Shucks, had I waited a day I would have bought them. I impulse bought the gtr ones last night after giving up in frustration finding the spacers. lol Thanks anyways though.
